GriefShare is a faith-based program designed to help people cope with the loss of a loved one. It is a support group program that offers a blend of counseling, teaching, and group discussion. The program is structured around a 12-week cycle that meets once a week, providing participants with support and resources to help them manage their grief.

Each GriefShare session includes three components:

  1. Video Seminar: These videos feature expert interviews, real-life case studies, and topical discussions related to grief and loss.

  2. Group Discussion: After watching the video, participants engage in a group discussion about the week's topic. This is an opportunity for people to share their experiences and feelings in a safe and supportive environment.

  3. Personal Workbook: Participants receive a workbook to help them explore topics in more depth individually and to process their grief between group meetings.
