Scripture:

Galatians 5:19-26

We all experience it, but we seldom talk about it: envy. It’s like an app running in the background of our lives—active, yet often unnoticed until something trigger it. Today, we’ll address this reality in a message entitled “Envy: The Silent Killer,” drawn from Galatians 5:19–26.

Today’s Offering:
1. Ministries of Maranatha; 2. UCB
Next Week’s Offering: Benevolence Fund

Culture of Worship at Maranatha: We want our worship services to be electric with the reality of God—full of joy, awe, expectation and unmoving confidence in Him!  We aim to facilitate an atmosphere of worship in which the congregation can engage with and encounter God. Worship services are covered in prayer; members of our prayer team: pray prior to each service, flag at the front as a form of worship intercession, and provide prayer ministry following each service. You're encouraged to express heartfelt and Spirit-led worship! If you'd like to dance, flag or express yourself in a way that requires extra room, there are dedicated Expressive Worship Spaces in the back of the auditorium.

Songs:

  • Here For You

  • Open Up The Heavens

  • How Great Thou Art

  • Worthy

  • The Stand

  • Lord I Need You

  • I Speak Jesus

Our Prayer

  Heavenly Father grant:

¡ That we would have an insatiable, supernatural desire to be formed into the image of Christ,

¡ That our love for one another would draw others to know the God who lives in us,

¡ That our bold witness would result in increasing numbers of people coming to faith in Christ,

¡ That the atmosphere among us would be electric with the reality of God,

¡ That our service to our community would cause us to shine as a beacon of light in Belleville.
